It is a one year full time post graduate diploma course the eligibility for which is Bachelor degree with either of Physiology, Chemistry, Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, Nursing, MBBS, Holders of Bachelor degree in Homoeopathy are considered for admission.
The objective of the course is to generate trained Nutritionists and Dietitians who will work in Institutions, Government programmes, hospitals, clinics, nursing homes or any other health facilities and also in organisations where Nutrition and / or Dietetics related works including diet planning, nutritional assessment and nutritional counseling are offered to the clients. They will also be capable of practicing privately as dietitian.
