For the M Tech course, the candiadte should have a Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology or Masters Degree in the relevant discipline.

1. All candidates applying for the MDes program in Design must possess a valid score of
All India Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED).
2. Final selection for admission to the MDes program is based on the CEED score and on
performance in a creative interactive session and personal interview to be conducted
at the Department of Design in May/June. Candidates are encouraged to present a portfolio
of their earlier work.
IITG offers M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Computing. Students with relevant graduate degree are eligible.
Students are selected for admissions to MSc programmes through Joint Admission to MSc in IITs (IIT-JAM) examination.
A Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent from a recognised University, in any discipline with a minimum average of 50 % marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale [ 45 % or 5.0 CPI in a 10-point scale, for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disability (PD) candidate].
