Main tasks of a teacher:

• to make children understand abstract concepts with logical reasoning, solving their problems, to kindle in them a wish to learn,
• prepare lessons and make them as interesting as possible,
• make homework and confer with students over their work,
• to assess children’s work, maintain record of lessons taught and the progress report of their children,
• to discuss the progress of their children to their parents and give an appropriate feedback,
• assist children to learn and not judge their inability to learn,
• identify emotional, intellectual, physical etc. issues which hinder the student to give his/her cent percent,
• to supervise teaching assistants, trainee teachers and newly-qualified teachers,
• to attend professional development sessions for keeping themselves updated on the latest amendments in their curriculum and new teaching methods,
• to treat students with respect and to teach them to treat others with respect,
• to prepare students to sit for SATs, GCSEs, A/S levels and A-Levels.
