f 5 year integrated LLB has emerged as one of the favourite courses for students opting for professional courses after 12th. The course is available for all stream students and admissions are based on admission / entrance tests. Some of these are National level entrance exams after 12th and some are state level entrance exams after 12th . - CLAT 2023
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2023) is conducted for admission to undergraduate and post graduate programs at 21 National Law Universities.
Eligibility for CLAT:
A candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates). There is no age limit for UG program in CLAT 2023.
CLAT Pattern: CLAT ( UG ) is of 2 hours and 200 marks. The subject areas are as follows. English ( 40 marks ), General Knowledge/ current affairs ( 50 marks ), Numerical ability ( 20 marks ), Legal Aptitude (50 marks ) and Logical reasoning ( 40 marks ). There is negative marking for wrong answers.
The applications for CLAT 2023 are open from 8th August 2022 and will close on 13th November 2022. The exam will be held on 18th December 2022.

The National Law University Delhi conducts the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission to its B.A.LL.B (Hons.), LL.M and Ph.D Degree Programmes.
In 2023 the test will be held on 11th December 2022 in various centers all over India. The applications are available from 7th September and close 15th November 2022.
There are 110+10 seats ( 5 seats for NRI's , 5 for OCI and PIO ). 50% seats are reserved for Delhi students. Foreign nationals are exempt from writing AILET for admission. Students who have passed 10+2 with English or appearing for it are eligible to apply. Age limit is 21 years to sit for AILET. To secure a seat the candidate has to score a min of 40% in AILET.
AILET tests the candidates on English, GK, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning and Numerical Ability. The paper is of 90 minutes and there are 150 questions. - GGS IP University New Delhi 5 years integrated LLB
GGS IP University New Delhi offers 5 years integrated LLB ( BA LLB and B Com LLB ) course and admits students on the basis of CLAT score. In the past the university conducted entrance exam after 12th for admission to programs offered by University law School and other affiliated colleges. - Jamia Milia Islamia Delhi 2020
Jamia Milia Islamia, central University in Delhi offers 5 year integrated BA LLB Hons course. The Institute was rated 6th in law college category in NIRF ranking 2018. For admissions the institute take entrance exam after 12th .
The applications open in march every year and the test is conducted in April. There are 60 seats in the course including the self financed seats. - Punjab University BA B Com LLB Hons entrance test 2020
The test is conducted for admission to BA LLB / B Com LLB hons course offered by University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University Chandigarh ( 120 seats for BA LLB and 120 seats for B Com LLB, 12 seats for NRIs in each course) , University institute of laws, Punjab University regional center civil lines, Ludhiana ( 87 seats) and University Institute of legal studies PU Regional centre, Hoshiarpur ( 60 seats).
Eligibility: 10+2 pass students with min 50% marks are eligible to apply..
The last date to register for the entrance test is 24th May 2019 and the exam will be held on 16th June 2019 in Chandigarh.
The entrance test consists of one paper on legal and general awareness. The paper will consist of 100 questions of one mark each. Of these, 60 questions will be for Testing General Knowledge and Current Affairs, 20 for Testing Aptitude for Law, 10 for Testing Mental Ability and rest of the 10 questions will be for Testing Proficiency in English Language. Total time allocated to this paper will be 90 minutes. The Question Papers will be available in English, Hindi and Punjabi (except for the portion “proficiency in English Language”). Final merit list is prepared by giving 50% weightage to entrance test score and 50% weightage to class 12th marks. - Army Institute of Law, Mohali Panjab entrance test 2019
Army Institute of law Mohali is NAAC A grade institute offering 5 years BA LLB course. The admission is done on the basis of entrance test. There are 80 seats in the course and 60 seats are reserved forwards of army personnel, 4 seats are in the All India Category. For these seats an entrance test is conducted by AWES. 16 seats of Panjab resident quota are filled on the basis of class 12th marks by Panjabi University Patiala as per directions of Panjab Government. For 2019 the applications are available from 20th April 2019. Applications closed on 17th may 2019 and the entrance was conducted on 8th June 2019. - Maharashtra State 5 year LLB Entrance
CET is conducted in the state of Maharashtra for admission to various 5 year Law courses offered by Universities and colleges. the seats are allotted centrally. In 2019 the applications began on 28th Jan and closed on 18th March 2019. The MAH LLB 5 yrs CET was conducted on 21st April 2019. CET Pattern: Total marks 150 and duration 2 hours. There is no negative marking. the test assesses Legal Reasoning ( 40 Marks ), GK and Current Affairs (30 Marks) Logical and Analytical Reasoning (40 marks) and English (30 marks) and Basic Mathematics 10 Marks. .

The test is considered for admission to Law programmes in participating colleges like Amity, UPES Dehradun, ITM Gurgaon, Jindal global Law school, Sonipat, Faculty of Law Dehradun, RGSOIPL 3 yr LLB at IIT Khargapur and others.
Eligibility: 10+2 pass students with min 50% marks are eligible to apply. For 3 year LLB graduates in any stream with min 50% marks.
LSAT has 4 sections on logical reasoning and reading comprehension.
LSAT India registrations open in October.
