B Tech is offered in Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science, Physics.

Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with science subjects are eligible for this course.

M.Design
Eligibility

IITB offers Masters in Design in Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design, Animation, Interaction Design, Mobility and Vehicle Design.
Eligibility for M.Des. Programme:
The candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST) or equivalent grades in the
qualifying examination (as listed below).
Industrial Design:
(i) Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design, or equivalent
(ii) Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT, or equivalent)
Mobility and Vehicle design:
(i) Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design, or equivalent
(ii) Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT, or equivalent)
(iii) BFA (4 year professional programme in Fine art/Commercial art after 10+2)
Visual Communication, Animation and Interaction Design:
(i) Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design, or equivalent
(ii) Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT, or equivalent)
(iii) B.F.A. (4 year professional programme, after 10+2)
(iv) G.D. Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year professional experience

Entrance and Admission requirements

For this program the admission is through CEED (Common Entrance exam for Design). GATE qualified students are also considered. There is no age limit and a candidate can appear in CEED any number of times. CEED scores and marks in written test and interview are considered for final admission.

4 year M.Sc- M Tech Dual Degree
Eligibility

The program is offered in M. Sc. Physics - M Tech Material Sciences with specialization in Nano-Science and Technology, undertaken jointly by the Department of Physics and the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science.Course curriculum also includes a M.Tech. project in exciting areas of Nano-Technology. This programme is the first joint venture by two departments in IIT Bombay, and perhaps, the first of its kind in India and would serve the immediate need of Materials Engineers with a strong background in Physics and appropriate knowledge in Nano-Science and Technology for employment at the CSIR, DRDO, DAE, ISRO and other Govt. research Organizations, Universities, Engineering Colleges, several new IITs, and the R & D wings of various Industries.
