IIMB has a strong brand identity with a logo that has great recall. The sun symbol has been designed by the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, and has been in use since 1994. In June 2010, IIMB received European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). IIMB has also entered into a partnership with Richard Ivey School of Business to co-brand and distribute faculty-authored cases on a global basis. IIMB has also established academic exchange partnership arrangements with 101 business schools and universities around the world.
