There are many courses at Bachelor and Masters level that are offered at institutes of repute.
- B.Sc Forestry - eligibility is science students with PCM/PCB in 10+2.
- M.Sc Forestry - course is offered to students with B.Sc in related disciplines.
- One can also do a M.Sc in Wood Science & Tech.
- PG Diploma in Forest Management is a field-based course which caters to the forestry sector.
- Some universities also offer Ph.D in Forestry course.
Those with Bachelors degree in related subjects can appear for Indian Forest Service exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
