Oceans are a huge source of resources and marine flora and fauna is limitless. Marine biologists study this flora and fauna. They deal with various species of plant and animal life that live in the oceans, seas or in any water body A marine biologist is someone who works in some way in studying, observing, protecting, or managing marine plants or animals. They work on marine fishes, work in preserving various species and do research on marine life. As the classification of the plant and animal species are not based upon taxonomy but on the environment thus modern-day marine biologists have taken up the task of mapping the marine species of animals and plants with the help of latest technologies. They explore the oceans and water bodies to find new species of plant and animal life.
