Career in music can be highly rewarding for some but for many it may not be that easy as it looks. One has to struggle for quite some time before earning a name for oneself and any after that one can ask for a good money. And suddenly new genres become popular and different kind of music take over and then the money flow reduces.
As such determining pay packages for musicians is not easy. If they get employed with schools or educational institutes then of course the pay is certain.

Musician’s days depend on their performance schedules. Generally concerts etc are held in the evenings and on weekends. People associated with TV programmes or film production companies follow definite schedule. People who work with music groups usually travel and perform. During a particular day a lot of time is spent in practicing or rehearsals. Many musicians get intermittent work so they have to continuously look for new assignments.
