Robotics Engineer

In India, Robotics is not offered as a specialization in Bachelor programs for engineering. Thus a background in mechanical, electrical, computer or instrumentation engineering would be good choice.

There is also a branch of engineering called mechatronics (unites the principles of mechanics, electronics, and computing) which is good choice if you wish to study Robotics at masters level.

BTech/BE Mechanical/Electrical/Computers/ Instrumentation/ Mechatronics

MTech/ M E Robotics/ Robotics and Artificial Intelligence/ Computers with subjects in Robotics.

M.Sc. Electronic Science with specialization in artificial intelligence, robotics, microwave electronics and computer technology.

B.Sc. degree electronics / computer science / physics (with electronics) are eligible for admission. Selection is based on CUSAT-CAT. 

Per semester fee is around Rs.1 lakh per year in private institute.

IIIT Allahabad takes per semester fee of Rs 58,500.
